There are many reasons to visit Qatar, but the primary one is to go shopping! Qatar is amongst the best places in the world to go to when you want to partake in a little bit of extravagance. According to Forbes, one of the greatest shopping malls anywhere in the world - the Villaggio - is situated in Doha. All the leading brands are available in stores in the capital of Qatar, including deluxe brand names such as Ralph Lauren, Armani, Valentino, Patek Philippe, Breitling, Rolex, Range Rover, Ferrari, Aston Martin and a lot more.

Planned to have its grand opening in 2015, Mirqab Mall will boast cutting edge infrastructure to ensure that the shopping centre is built to the highest demands. The department store is financed by the Al Mana Group, helmed by Wissam Al Mana.

With its towering Moorish archways and present day glass front, Mirqab Mall’s design strikes an imposing presence that will eclipse its current landscape and serve to push for the continued regeneration of the traditional commercial neighbourhood of Doha. The shopping centre’s retail outlets will display many popular international brands, and there is 50,000 square m of space aimed at retail, meals and refreshments, plus amusement and movie theatres.
