Fault description Throttle Actuator Monitoring Dissimilar Desired Values (Bank 1)
Condition for fault identification Test condition: Difference too large
Terminal condition: TERM87
Voltage condition: Battery voltage > 6.8V (k_egas_can_ed_ub_min)
Condition for fault memory entry 300 ms
Action in service 1. Clear fault memory, EDR system test
2. Check plug, wiring harness and power supply to EDR1
3. Replace EDR1
Fault effect and breakdown warning CC message
Engine speed limited
Reduced power
MIL after engine runs 2x
Driver information Warning light: MIL, EML, CC message, backup program

Action in service 1. Clear fault memory, EDR electronic throttle valve control system test,
2. Check 2nd plug, wiring harness and power supply for throttle valve DK1, EDR1 and DME,
3. Replace DK1

4. Replace DK1
5. Replace EDR1
